Every Tuesday, the Vacation Specialists at Coasters & Castles Travel will share one of their Tips for a great vacation. These have been compiled over many, many trips and will help you have a seamless, wonderful vacation.
From Mary Graham, Vacation Specialist
I think we can all agree that the least fun part of our Disney vacation is the END. When we come home and face reality (and many loads of laundry)!
Here's how I make the transition just a little bit better:
- I clean my house BEFORE we leave. This way, I don't come home to a mess. It makes it just a little nicer.
- I make sure to stock my refrigerator with some essentials. Milk, orange juice, cream for my coffee (in my Minnie Mouse mug, of course) and eggs make for a good breakfast. I don't have to run to the grocery store, which, by the way does NOT take Magic Bands as payment, LOL. I can ease back into my life without having to run out and these items stay fresh as long as they are refrigerated.
- Empty your trash cans and your dishwasher, so you're not faced with any nasty smells when you return.
- Hold your mail at the post office or have a neighbor collect it.
I hope these tips help you on your next vacation!
