Universal’s Volcano Bay is closed and will reopen on February 27th from its seasonal closure. Due to increased demand while we limit attendance as part of their enhanced procedures, parks may reach capacity more quickly at times throughout the year and entry to the parks may be limited or unavailable for the day of visit at times throughout the year. Check Theme Park Hours or the mobile app for hours of operation or call the capacity hotline at 1-407-817-8317.

Universal Orlando's Cinematic Celebration in Universal Studios Florida will be featured on select weekends through March 6, 2021.
Blue Man Group
Blue Man Group has made the decision to discontinue performances at the Universal Orlando Resort. They shared a statement on Twitter, “Thank you to the Blue Man Orlando Cast, crew and staff for more than 6,000 shows and to the millions of fans who shared in our incredible 14 year run.” They do plan to reopen, when allowed to do so, in Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, and Boston.
Walt Disney World
The American Adventure in Epcot is featuring “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure.” This new exhibit celebrates the distinctly American musical art form, originated by African Americans and fusing the influences of many different cultures.
Joe Gardner – the musician, mentor and teacher from Disney and Pixar’s new film “Soul,” streaming on Disney+ – shares the rich and surprising history of jazz by taking Guests on a musical tour of several influential American cities. Guests will also discover artifacts from legendary jazz musicians, including Louis Armstrong. And soon guests will be able to use the Play Disney Parks mobile app to interact with the exhibit and test their knowledge of jazz.
The Liberty Belle, the 47’ authentic steam-powered paddle wheeler, has returned to her home on the Rivers of America in Magic Kingdom. She was taken out of service and the river was drained to give each some attention and refurbishment. Last October, she was brought behind the Magic Kingdom by way of Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon so cast members could work on her. More than 100 cast members contributed to her refurbishment over the past four months.
Coinciding with the start of Black History month, “Celebrate Soulfully at Disney Springs” honors Black culture and puts the spotlight on some of the Black and African-American talent at Disney Springs, while also introducing some exciting new offerings. With jazz-inspired entertainment, new art displays, special offerings, and more, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
A special ticketed event will be happening at The Edison for Guests seeking a special, elevated dining experience. “Chef Dee Presents A Taste of the Bahamas” is a one night-only event taking place on Feb. 25, 2021 hosted by the newest Executive Chef at Patina Restaurant Group, Deaundra “Dee” Rolle.
Amorette’s Patisserie will be featuring two new petit cakes in honor of the month and celebrating Disney’s first Black princess, Princess Tiana and Joe Gardner from “Soul.”
Guests can listen special musical performances on Motown Mondays, Jazz Thursdays and Smooth Sundays.
Guests can make plans to dine at House of Blues Restaurant and Bar, and they can check out special Mardi Gras-themed menu items from Feb. 12-16.
Select stores will featuring merchandise of Black designers, artists and visionaries.
As of Friday, Feb. 5, guests can once again enjoy outdoor dining at Carthay Circle Lounge – Alfresco Dining, with its seasonal menu and unique dining environment on Buena Vista Street, an extension of Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. It is highly recommended that guests make a reservation for this experience through Disneyland.com or on the Disneyland mobile app.
Other dining options are also available as of February 5th. Mobile orders can be placed for Award Wieners or Smokejumpers Grill. Guests should place their mobile order once they are already on Buena Vista Street. Outdoor vending carts near Buena Vista Street are once again selling ice cream, cotton candy, soft drinks and other food and beverage items. Mobile order items and service subject to availability, restrictions and change or cancellation without notice. Access to Buena Vista Street may not be granted if at capacity. A mobile waitlist may be implemented at that time.
During the Seven Seas Food Festival, SeaWorld Orlando will be featuring live concerts every weekend at their open-air Bayside Stadium. Add a taste of rock, country, Latin, or 90s throwback sounds at our live music performances every Saturday and Sunday, Feb 6 – May 9. Reserved seating is available for purchase for performances.

The French government has closed the borders of its overseas territories indefinitely. These Caribbean destinations include St. Barts, St. Martin, Martinique and Guadeloupe. This is a precautionary action in response to the concern for the new variants of Covid-19.
Barbados will enact new measures to fight an increase of coronavirus, after cases of the U.K. variant were discovered. Barbados is responding to the increased concern of a new Covid-19 variant. Prime Minister Mia Mottley advised that the country's borders will remain open, but a lockdown period from February 3 to 17, 2021 includes an expanded national curfew from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Mask wearing will be mandatory in public.
Adventures by Disney
Adventures by Disney is offering a temporary adjustment to their terms and conditions to provide more flexibility for guests. Guests currently booked on Adventures in May 2021, can change their reservation and receive a 100% credit to be used toward a future Adventure. Guests will have until May 31, 2022, to complete travel. This future travel credit is non-refundable and standard prevailing rates will apply.
AMResorts® is pleased to share that Sunscape® Sabor Cozumel will undergo a significant investment of $2.5 million to completely remodel 48 guest rooms: 24 Deluxe Tropical View, 12 Deluxe Ocean Front, and 12 Deluxe Ocean View rooms. The resort has put measures in place to reduce noise as well as preserve the view. In order to ensure the best possible guest experience, the resort is pleased to confirm that all guests in affected rooms will be upgraded.
Reservations traveling with children who are currently booked in a Deluxe Tropical View, Deluxe Ocean Front or a Deluxe Ocean View guest room throughout the duration of renovations will be upgraded to a suite on property. Adult guests traveling with no children will be upgraded to Secrets® Aura Cozumel.
Sunscape® Sabor Cozumel
Canada has extended its cruise ship ban for one year, until February 28, 2022 which is going to seriously impact Alaskan sailings and tourism. Canada's Minister of Transport, Omar Alghabra, announced an interim extension of the country's prohibition on cruise vessels carrying more than 100 people from operating in Canadian waters. The order also prohibits passenger vessels carrying more than 12 people from entering Arctic coastal waters. Transport Canada stated that Canadian citizens and permanent residents should avoid all travel on cruise ships outside Canada until further notice.
Starting July 1, 2021, American Queen Steamboat Company and Victory Cruise Lines passengers must have a Covid-19 vaccination in order to sail, parent company Hornblower Group said today. The vaccination requirement will also apply to shipboard crew and shoreside employees across all seven vessels in the American Queen and Victory fleets.
The vaccine mandate is part of the health and safety measures the brands announced in 2020, which includes pre-cruise Covid-19 testing of all guests and crew and a mask mandate in all public areas where social distancing is not possible.
American Queen plans to begin service in March and Victory will begin in May.
MSC Cruises took delivery of the MSC Virtuosa this week in Saint Nazaire, France. She is expected to enter service on April 16, 2021 with four sailings in the Mediterranean before moving to its homeport of Kiel, Germany, where it will offer Northern Europe itineraries starting May 8, 2021.
Celebrity recently announced new itineraries in 2022 and 2023 to lands down-under. Celebrity Eclipse® returns to Australia and New Zealand offering a variety of new sailing ranging from 5-night escapes to 18-night adventures that set sail from Sydney to Auckland.
