Sandals Resorts has announced that they are expanding in Curaçao. They will be taking over the Santa Barbara Beach & Gulf Resort to introduce a new destination to their collection. It will begin with 350 rooms and suites, but there are plans for further expansion. They will add new expansive pools, gourmet dining options, and lavish accommodations. Close to the resort is the Pete Dye Championship Golf Course as well as two marinas.



Many of the Sandals Resorts are open, with the remaining resorts scheduled to re-open soon. Sandals Ochi in Ocho Rios, Jamaica will be re-opening December 17th.

Karisma Hotels & Resorts have officially re-opened all of their properties. They have locations in Mexico, Jamaica, Montenegro, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic.


Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancun

Disney Cruise Line has updated their cancellation policy. Disney Cruise Line must cancel sailings longer than seven nights. This cancellation includes the 13-Night Transatlantic sailing onboard the Disney Magic on May 9, 2021, the 9-Night Alaska sailing onboard the Disney Wonder on June 28, 2021 and the 9-Night Southern Caribbean Sailing onboard the Disney Fantasy.


U.S. land borders with Canada and Mexico will remain closed to non-essential land border crossings through at least January 21, 2021.

Las Vegas is planning a big send off to 2020. They will not be hosting a physical event, however anyone can watch the festivities on visitlasvegas.com. There will be fireworks, confetti, streamers, and a huge “2020” sign that will be blown up Las Vegas style! A DJ will be joining in to make it more festive. It will be about a 12 to 15 minute pyrotechnic presentation to welcome in 2021.

Walt Disney World


Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will be running Jan. 8 – Feb. 22, 2021. This global celebration mixes visual, culinary and performing arts from around the world into an entertaining blend that’s fun for the entire family. More than 100 Disney and visiting artists will display their work.



2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts



The 2021 Star Wars Rival Run Weekend will be converted to a virtual event, similar to the previous runDisney race weekends this year. Participants who registered through runDisney.com will have the option of receiving a full refund for the race. Those who are registered with a U.S. mailing address may convert their existing registration to the new virtual event that can be completed from home, a local running track or favorite running trail. In addition to the satisfaction of completing the race they’ve trained for, eligible participants in the virtual race will receive a medal for each distance they complete and the option of a race shirt.

SeaWorld Orlando


SeaWorld Orlando has announced their Holiday Reflections: Fireworks and Fountains Finale. It will feature soaring fountains, dazzling lights, and festive fireworks, choreographed to joyous holiday musical favorites. Experience an amazing SeaWorld Christmas connection that illuminates the night sky from all around the central lake. Park reservations are required.
